VITA
Visitors in the Arts
Our active participation in VITA (Visitors in the Arts) programme has brought a rich assortment of highly-esteemed artistic visionaries together at WPF toward the common goal of preserving great art and culture in all its forms, impressions and expressions so it may continue to be seen and experienced via print on paper within the realm of great art, literature and mixed print media.
Through VITA, WPF has brought internationally recognized artists to the studio to demonstrate unique examples of proficiency in the medium, to show in the gallery and to contribute their own original works of art to the fundraising efforts being made toward the preservation and enrichment of art and culture as it pertains to the medium of print.
Recently, visual art and literature came together with a highly-successful, juried art exhibit, Evolution, inspired by a reading of the written works of Governor-General award-winning author Nino Ricci.
Recently, VITA artists Stephen Andrews, Julie Voyce, Ed Pien and George Hawken have all generously invested in WPF with donations of original work of art toward the promotion of our September fundraising program.
