February Workshop: Introduction to Lithography

Workshops No Comments »

On February 16th and 17th, the Forum hosted a two-day whirlwind intro to stone lithography. Three enthusiastic participants happily gave up valuable vacation time during their spring break in order to grind stone, sling chemicals and get inky in the cold basement studio with instructor Jodi Green. We managed to get through stone graining, drawing, etching, printing, deletions, counteretching, additions and colour printing in just ten hours of studio time, and had a blast doing it.
