We are pleased to announce that we will be receiving a donation of prints from the University of Windsor. Please read the notice below from SoCA if you have any prints in this collection that you would like to reclaim before this donation happens, as the University has designated several times when artists can claim their work if they would like it to be returned. Please feel free to contact us via facebook or at email@example.com if you have any questions about the collection.
TO: All printmakers that attended at the University of Windsor, between 1970- 2016
(Windsor, ON – October 28, 2016) The University of Windsor School of Creative Arts (“SoCA”) is currently storing over 4,000 working prints (the “Print Collection”) produced by the students enrolled in Printmaking in our program over the last 46 years.
SoCA is currently undergoing enormous change and transformation. In the fall of 2017, SoCA will be moving to a new location in downtown Windsor. As a result, SoCA is donating the Print Collection to the non-profit organization Windsor Printmaker’s Forum.
We would like to provide the Artists that have produced this work with an opportunity to pick up their work and remove it from the Print Collection before the transfer date of December 5, 2016.
Commencing Friday November 4, the LeBel Building Vault will be open between the hours of 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. This will provide an opportunity for all of the Artists to retrieve their work from the Print Collection. The final opportunity to pick up your work will be Friday, Dec. 2nd, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Pick up dates:
10:00 am – 3:00 pm, on
